Common thread

Look closely at anyone or anything — the same one light is shining there.

Echo

The Upanishad's ‘all is pervaded by God’ becomes the Guru's ‘in all is the one Light’ — immanence in two scriptures.

📖 A story to understand

At Mecca, Nanak was scolded for sleeping with his feet toward the holy Kaaba. ‘Then turn my feet where God is not,’ he replied. Whichever way they turned him, the holy direction seemed to follow — for the Divine is everywhere.
