The Temple That Turned Around
Kanaka Dasa was a poor singer who loved God dearly, but because of his humble birth he was not allowed inside a certain temple.
So he stood behind the temple, at the back wall, and sang from the bottom of his heart, longing only for a glimpse of the deity within.
His devotion was so pure that, the story tells, the statue itself turned around and a small window opened in the back wall, so the deity could face his faithful friend. There is still a little window there today.
